Vault hunter
VAULT HUNTER
A turn-based wasteland roguelike. One dive. One life. Six relics between you and the vault's last chance.
Grab your dog, pick a survivor, and descend into a raider-infested vault for a relic that might just keep your people alive. Every floor is procedurally generated, every fight can go sideways fast, and death means starting over from nothing — this is a Rogue/NetHack-style dungeon crawl, filtered through a Fallout-flavored wasteland.
What's in this build
- 8 classes, each with real starting gear, stats, and tradeoffs — from the tanky Iron Warden to the melee-only Legionnaire to the gun-shy Mutant
- Procedurally generated floors — no two dives play the same, with fog of war keeping you honest about what's around the next corner
- Turn-based tactical combat — bump-to-melee, distance-based ranged combat with reload tension, and throwables (grenades, molotovs, smoke) with real blast radii and lingering battlefield hazards
- A loyal dog companion — follows, fights, gets knocked out (not killed), and can be fed back to health from your own supplies
- Full inventory and loot — weapons and armor scale in quality the deeper you go, alongside food, medicine, and ammo you'll always be a little short on
- A boss waiting at the bottom — reach them, take what they're guarding, and try to get back out alive
